Veronica First Love
Veronica is a genus of about 250 species of annuals, perennials and some sub-shrubs mainly from Europe. Genus name is reputedly in honor of St. Veronica. ‘First Love’ is an erect, clump-forming speedwell that features a June-August bloom of intense fluorescent pink flowers packed into tapered-at-the-top terminal spikes. Narrow, lance-shaped, deep green leaves (to 3” long) form a foliage mound to 6-8” tall. Flowers spikes rise above the foliage mound to 10-12" tall. U. S. Plant Patent Applied For (PPAF).
